Installed these, along with rear 9000's, install was relatively easy and took about 20 minutes each side with the proper tools. This toned down the hard jouncing I had with the oem Rancho shocks quite a bit. 4 up front and 2 in the rear makes it feel more like a 70's cadillac!Have used Ranchos and several other brands, including Bilsteins on my other truck, a lifted straight axle 87 Toyota xtra cab truck, and keep coming back to the 9000's to allow me to dial in what I want, not what the shock manufacturer thinks my vehicle should have for compression/rebound! Hell, I even have a set of 5000X 5-way adjustables on that 'yota right now and they still work after 20+ years, although not as good as it used to be.If you want to fine-tune the suspension's feeling in your truck, these 9000's should work well.

At setting 9 at least as stiff as brand new OPM. At 1 makes for a much more comfortable ride. We are carrying a 5000lb plus camper and feel very safe.

These shocks are solid and do a really good job of smoothing out the ride. The adjustable dial for setting stiffness works well.

Not sure they are any better than stock with 25000 miles.Update 9/7/2019:The front bounces like a bucking bronco after every bump in the road....absolutely NO rebound damping

The variable rate valve worked one time to set them soft during hunting season and now won’t adjust back. Now my truck bounces about 4 times before settling every time I hit a speed bump.
