The holder does work but unit needs a better way to secure it to the Cricut machine when in use. Tolerances are tight as they should be in order to keep the material aligned but making it a few millimeters wider in the loading and cutting slots would make a big difference. The vinyl roll has a tendency to catch on the side of the feeder slot for the cutter. Other than that the unit is well built and the vinyl roll sits nicely and rolls smoothly. The cutting attachment works well and is a great convenience. Overall a good buy.

I got this for a Cricut Maker 3, so I could make decals from rolls of vinyl. Because the vinyl has been rolled up it comes out curving downwards, and it causes issues when the cricut attempts to make cuts moving the vinyl forwards and backwards and it gets snagged and ruins the vinyl. The vinyl holder leads to a bit of horizontal play with the roll of vinyl and that means that it can enter the cricut with the leading edge of the vinyl not square, that causes problems. The holder isn't held reliably in place and that can cause problems. The only thing that I find valuable at this point is it can cut rolls, but given printing from a roll doesn't work the thing is useless

Awful product!! It doesn’t fit properly on my maker 3. Will not lock into place when pushing down on the maker tray…. Keeps popping back up. DO NOT BUY!!!!

Bought this for my cricut and I couldn’t be happier. It works the same and quality is the same as the expensive cricut one.

I initially gave it one star upon my first use, but having gone back and now use it on a completely flat and level surface, it works fine for me. User error not knowing it will not snap in place securely, but if your surface used is level and flat it works just fine holding the rolls of craft material and the cutter on it is fantastic. I recommend this to any crafter out there who like me has a myriad of different rolls of material being used for the Cricut.

Its not perfect but it serves the purpose. The only reason its not perfect is that when trying to attach it to machine it is hard to allign it and put it in right spot. Does not grip very well. But one in place you can use it and gets work done.
