This is a miracle in a bottle! Upon buying a bunch of the mini packs of distress ink at my local store and opening them, during the process of using them the first time alot of them were dried out from sitting on the shelf so long! This product saved me a ton of money from having to buy individual reinkers for each of the ink pads that were dried out. Seriously having to buy 18 reinkers for each pad when each separate bottle coats 6 to 9 dollars would not of been possible! The spray is very easy to use. Just about 3 pumps into each pad and let sit for a hour and my pads were revived. Also I have used these to reactivate my oldwater based markers that sat around to long without being used. It's definitely worth the money for this bottle as it can be used not only on ink pads, water based markers bit also on the oxide pads too. This bottle has saved me one time in the middle of a mixed media project when the ink pad was running out. It enabled me to get the last little bit out of the pad enough to finish my project. This is one product I always will keep in stock. I still have the original bottle and have not had to replace it yet. It's still more then half full as a little goes a long way. I've had the original bottle I bought for almost a year and a half if not two years. I don't know what's in this stuff but it's more then just water. It doesn't have much of a smell to it whatever is in it. You don't want to use to much of the product 3 short pumps for mini ink pads and 5 short pumps for the regular sized pads. And it's important to let soak for at least 20 minutes. I let the product soak in the pad for a hour and try to spray as evenly on top of the pad as possible.

I have some stamp pads and pens that dried out from being stored for to many years. Heard about this when I searched for solutions so gave it a try. It works. Some pens took multiple times to moisten up. I sprayed a old plastic lid and repeated dipped it. Use a paper sack or something under pads as the spray can come off the pads and get ink spots.

So nice to revive ink pads and save on refills, especially since some ink pads do not have refills easily found.

It basically brings your marker or ink pad back from the dead. I have used this many times, this is my second bottle. My only question, is where is the clear plastic cap for the bottle???

I bought this to refresh my ink pads and discovered happily that it works equally well to freshen up containers of the grand children's play dough. It won't resuscitate completely hard dry play dough but just a little spritz will bring new life into a container left out just a little too long. I am also happy with the results of a spritz on ink pads and applicators. This is well worth the purchase price! Ranger IIR24576 Inkssentials Ink Refresher, 4-Ounce

I bought this to refresh the ink in the very expensive name brand ink pads for distressing paper. It works ok. What really bothers me is the fact that the before mentioned ink pads, made by the same company, need refreshing and they are practically new and are stored according to directions when not in use.
