About this item

  • BEST FOR: MTB and gravel
  • Suggested load-out: (1) 26, 27.5, 29, 27.5+ or 29+ tube, (2) 16g or 20g CO2 Cartridges + Inflator, (2) Tire Levers, (1) Compact Multi-Tool.
  • Connects only to the saddle rails, making it ideal for bikes with dropper seatpost
  • Designed to carry a MTB tube, (2) 18g or 20g CO2 cartridges, small inflator head, (2) tire levers, and small multi-tool

Specifically designed for MTB, gravel, and plus tire riders, the Ranger Large combines all the features of the standard Ranger pack with even MORE capacity and a longer strap to keep it all nice and tight! Tools, emergency gear, and more are kept dry inside the waterproof ballistic nylon shell and organized securely in tight interior pockets, eliminating the annoying rattle that plagues the traditional saddle pack. The narrow profile design tucks the Ranger Large tightly up and out of the way—free and clear of your legs (AND most dropper posts*!)—and a reflective logo imprint on the strap provides added visibility in low-light conditions. *Rowdy Dropper Lovers NOTE: While the Ranger Large is the most compact and low-profile saddle pack on the market and has been tested on a variety of full-suspension bikes with dropper posts, each and every setup is different. Saddle type and position, dropper length, sag setup, etc… all come into play and it is the owner’s responsibility to ensure that there is enough clearance between the pack and your back tire when the dropper is down and suspension is fully compressed. BEST FOR: MTB and gravel Suggested load-out: (1) 26, 27.5, 29, 27.5+ or 29+ tube, (2) 16g or 20g CO2 Cartridges + Inflator, (2) Tire Levers, (1) Compact Multi-Tool.

Purchased this in 2023 and after one year of mountain biking in all kinds of weather including dirt dust and rain -= it is holding up well and carries a reasonable le amount of small items that meet my needs. .

It is the perfect size for 2 CO2 cartridges a tube tire levers and some other gear. It also is tucked away so it it doesn’t get in the way of my dropper post nor my thoughts. I have a couple hundred miles with it in CO including a race. So far I haven’t need anything in it.

Strap has separated from bag. Manufacturer says this is either a knockoff or an older version of the bag.

There is only one connection point and the seam ripped apart after 1 month or 20 rides…I ended up spending a hour sewing it together… see if I get another few months out of it.

I recently purchased a speedsleev mtb bag. It's been a tremendous disappointment. The velcro straps are completely unreliable. I have resorted to using a rubberband around the velcro that closes the flap of the bag, to prevent it from coming undone while riding. After the second time it dumped the contents of my bag out on the trail I came up with this simple fix. I've also started securing the bag to the seat using an additional velcro strap that cost 2 dollars that has the little loop that allows you to cinch the strap tight and then double it back on itself to secure it. This is a big improvement but the combination of requiring two workarounds just to keep a bag from opening up and/or completely falling off the bike while riding is really underwhelming. This bag cannot be trusted. Period. To add insult to injury, the logo lettering started fading/coming off within a few rides. At this point, the design flaws are too much. I could sew a new strap onto the bag which is what needs to happen to make this a product that can be trusted, or I can just give up.For use on the road these may be non issues, but for gravel and trail riding they are deal killers. What I do like: Bag is constructed well, the internal pockets for organization are well thought out and fit the common items you are likely to want/need to carry. The size is right and DOES NOT interfere with my rear tire, even with a dropper post. What I would change: Put a boa closure on the strap that secures the bag to the saddle. Add a way to secure the closure tab so it doesn't vibrate open. An overlapping piece of velcro would work, a snap would work, or just put a zipper on the whole thing and call it a day. Add a rear loop to attach a taillight.

SpeedSleev saddle bags are the most flexible ones I know of so they attach to just about any saddle and in a variety of locations and configurations. I keep mine rather flat, I don't carry much in it— that's why I didn't want a bulkier, firmer saddle bag to begin with. I put in whatever I need, then squeeze it flat, up against the saddle's railings with its Velcro strap. I works well, doesn't rattle, doesn't move. I have several of these, BTW.

Cumple perfectamente.
