I got this brayer because it is smaller than usual, has flexible rubber, and has feet to keep it off the desk. My main reason to buy it was for spreading a small layer of glue over things that has holes in it like lace. I do a lot of papercrafting and have cutouts that are dificult to get glue on them. This works out perfectly for that reason.
