This scale came to me exactly as described, and as stated is precise to the milligram level. Repeated weighing of the same objects showed minor (~2mg) deviations in measured weights, but this is normal for a scale of this type. You'd be hard pressed to find a scale this portable and this inexpensive that was any more accurate. If extraordinary accuracy was required, you could always take multiple measurements and average the value anyways.Scale came with a small instruction booklet (in English and German), a dish for powders/loose materials, a small pair of plastic tweezers, a 50g calibration weight, and a hinged plastic cover. Instruction booklet was surprising easy to read considering the product's origin. Only minor errors were found in the instructions, and none of them were detrimental to my understanding of the product. My only complaint is that it didn't come with the two required AAA batteries, but that's really not a big deal. The fact that it uses AAA batteries is nice, since many scales of this size use harder to find coin cells. All in all, 5 stars. If you're looking for a compact scale that measures down to the milligram, look no further.

I bought the TN-Series 50g x 0.001g to replace my AWS Gemini-20 which I had used for years and, although it still worked fine, I needed a larger surface area of the scale itself for measuring my supplements using a Dixie cup. The TN-Series is now my new favorite scale. I use it every day, multiple times a day, to precisely measure raw food supplements I take. It is accurate and reliable. I also find it superior to the AWS Gemini-20 not simply because the TN-Series is a better value, but it performs much better as well. Whereas the AWS often would inaccurately give readings due to the design of the very small tray not fitting precisely on the scale, the TN-Series does not have this problem because the surface area of the scale is much larger. I also like that it can measure milligrams up to 50g. Very happy with this purchase and I would purchase it again. Full disclosure: I was offered a package of Amazon AAA batteries to write a review, but I would have written the review even without the incentive. Great product!!

The scale is a small simple device that gets the job done without any unneeded complication. The packaging is surprisingly good quality and everything is organized well in it. It comes with some tweezers, a small cup for holding and pouring whatever it is you're measuring, and a 50g weight to verify it's calibrated. The scale itself has a plastic cover you can close over the top to protect it when not in use. The scale appears to be accurate and sensitive to the milligram, so it gets the job done. Since the packaging is so nice, you can even put it away there until you need it. The only flaw I found was in the user manual that came with the scale. It has multiple typos and can be unclear at times. The user manual being so poor really contrasts with the quality of the scale itself, so if they improved that it would make the presentation a little better.

Ok, so no, there is NO 'white' powder being measured, but all kinds of the 'Black' stuff.....Soooooo, you can go buy one from the usual sources and pay a fortune for it, or get one from the Bay that doesn't read the same way twice, or you can save a bunch of dough and get this really nifty scale.JARGON ALERT: for those who understand....My Dillon 1050 needs to be calibrated but once to set up a run depending on the nitrocellulose du jour. This scale read accurate RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. Comes with a calibration weight, so throughout the run, I flip in on, hit it with the calibration weight, pull a filled case, dump it in the handy little formed tray, (also included), it read consistently to .01 GRAINS (yes, it measured directly to grains), then I could return the powder to the case with the formed tray, adjust the 1050 if needed, and roll on.The purchase could be used to handload right from whats in the box. No conversion, no additional tools needed, instantly re calibrates, super precise, and at a REAL budget price.I'm delighted - its the 4th scale I've had - the FIRST one did the job out of the box at a price I thought was reasonable.

I bought this to weigh a dry powder medication/supplement I give daily to my cat (I turn it into a liquid and dispense with an oral syringe). I have to weigh between 100 and 200 milligrams. It seems to be pretty accurate- the included calibration weight is right on the money even several weeks and a hundred uses later. Not sure if it is as accurate as a high-priced scale, but meets my needs for the supplement (it doesn't have to be perfect). Probably in the +/- 5mg range. It boots quickly, and the "tare" function is extremely easy to use and helpful. The numbers are big and easy to read. Batteries are standard AAA and seem to last forever. The only problem is that the cover broke off pretty quickly- the little plastic nib it uses as a hinge isn't strong. But that doesn't bother me much and doesn't affect the operation of the scale.

When I need accuracy for measuring small amounts of oils this scale is dependable.

We needed a scale to read micrograms that would be reliable enough for very precise use and this scale works perfect. It was easy to figure how to set up, comes with a calibration weight (which is super convenient) . After testing with our material, it seems to be exactly what we needed. all of the additional items are nice to have and make use alot easier.
