I replaced 10 drawer slides that were 24 years old and were essentially junk with these soft-close slides. I also bought the rear brackets which were long enough to use the 22-inch slides with a cabinet depth of 23.5", mounting them on the face frame and at the rear of the cabinets (the sides were not an option).These are high-quality slides and they are worth every penny you pay for them. They are built very well, but you need to know how to install them.Those who say that the soft-close feature doesn't work do not know what they are talking about. They likely installed them incorrectly. The soft-close feature is obvious. As someone else wrote in another review, the tolerances are tight. You must make sure that the slides are square and horizontal (use a level) or they won't close properly, but EVERY SLIDE requires that they are installed properly.To help install these, do a google search on installing soft-close slides. Also, I used Kreg Drawer Slide Mounting Brackets and two Kreg Clamps (Google them as well) which were incredibly helpful to rear-mount these slides. Otherwise, you'll need a level to make sure that you're mounting the slides horizontally.

I was hesitant to purchase these based on a few bad reviews, but they went on sale at a price I couldn't refuse. I'm so glad to have made this purchase. I have double-wide kitchen drawers, and these slides are so much better than the stock ones that were installed with the drawers. My wife mentioned she thinks it's a little harder to pull the drawers open than it should be. I think that's just a matter of getting used to them though, nothing terrible.

The drawers when you pull them open. You really have to pull to open them. This man had to order a whole new set because these are not working the way he had hoped it's just unfortunate this late in the game that we found out we have to order new drawer slides because these do not work properly in other words I'm nicely saying I wouldn't advise getting them If you want them to pull out with ease it will not happen You're going to have to tug to open these drawers.

These are very easy to install -- I was nervous to do this since I never have before but it was a breeze. I agree with other reviewers that you should make sure to measure the width between the drawer and the surface you are attaching it to, as well as the depth of the drawer before you order. I would also recommend watching a youtube of how to install drawer slides to help you. (the instructions are good, but complex)You don't know how crappy your old drawer slides are until you install these and experience how buttery smooth they are! The quality is excellent so far.
