Very good quality rack that's made w/ heavy duty steel & there's a lot of padding on the arms that hold the kayaks. The rack was stable when I had the kayaks on it & was roll in/out of the garage. I bought the standard model & then turned around & ordered wheels for it. Being able to move the rack is so much better....so just go ahead & spend the extra $ & buy the wheeled model. I'm 5'2", female & was able to put the top kayak on the rack & used the second set of holes. The rack was fairly easy to put together & I did use the 2 wrenches that were included. (BTW 'Sky Mall' is a very good seller.)

This was surprisingly easy to put together. It’s takes up no more floor space than a single kayak, and it makes moving the kayak around in the garage or to load into the truck super easy. Hanging my Kayak on the wall was no longer conducive to our space and I needed a way to protect the kayak and keep it off the floor. This did all that and more. Plus it gave me a place to hang kayak gear, vests, paddles, etc. It’s stable and super easy to move around when getting vehicles or lawn equipment out of the garage. I can roll it right up to my truck bed and unload or load from there. The wheels lock or free roll. Great purchase!

Put it together today and it takes paying a little attention to the instructions and a metric ratchet set to make it easier, but it was no biggie. Took about 25 minutes to do it right the first time. Construction is sturdy, all the parts were there, it's quite heavy duty. The powder coating is good, too. Required a 17mm wrench to set up the rubber feet that is not included. Again, no biggie. The kayak supports are heavily padded and once assembled the kayak nestles in place perfectly. I'm going to put my paddle board on the top shortly, but it should be just as secure. I purchased covers for both for the winter months and will secure the rack to a couple of the posts for the fence in the yard in case we get any heavy wind, but it seems really sturdy, even with out that. I am blown away by just how well made this product is. All the bolt holes align perfectly, all the nuts are lock nuts and everything is finished in black so it matches. Nice job. Highly recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised with this kayak rack. The black paint was smooth and blemish free. Assembly was easy, about an hour. Instructions were well-illustrated, with written English instructions that were easy to follow (none of those strange translations you sometimes see). Components were marked with identifying labels and the parts package was well organized. Two 13mm wrenches were supplied, which are adequate for assembly, although faster with a ratchet and 13mm socket. The holes all aligned, and bolts and nuts were mostly burr-free. This is a good product.

Sturdy and well built, flexible bars enable me to store both my canoe and my kayak, see photo. Easy to put together, did it by myself. Had one slight assembly error but it became obvious and corrected in just a few minutes. Very happy with this product.

We bought this rack to hold our 2 large kayaks. 30 and 31 inches wide. 10 and 12 feet long. Also, one kayak weighs about 50lbs and the other 78lbs. The rack is very sturdy and well built. Overlapping joints, thick pipes. It has thick cushions on the support arms with removable covers if you need to wash them. We bought the one with wheels so we can roll the rack into our walkout basement. Rolls great on the concrete floor. We are very happy with it.

Delivery was nice and prompt. Rack seemed packaged fairly well. Assembly directions were not bad, and the bolts and nuts were all packaged together by steps, so you didn’t need to sort through them. Considering it’s all modular, it has some wobble unloaded, but once weight of the kayaks are in it, it seems pretty stable. I’m glad I decided to get the rolling version. All the wheels have brakes with lock very strongly. Docking it some stars because of weld positions unfortunately. There are nuts welded internally on the verticals posts so you can bolt them together. One bolt was welded out of position so I cannot engaged the bolt to anchor it. The other verticals was fine. On the 3 piece horizontal crossbar, again the is an internally welded piece at the joint. On the middle bar, the insert was not welded straight, so my horizontal bar is at an angle at that joint. These 2 things are mocking it from a 5 to a 3.5 stars for me. I did not reach out to seller for replacement parts, as I just wanted it built. On the vertical I’m so close to being able to get the bolt in. I think I can ream the little piece of metal out of the way. On the horizontal bar everything anchored fine, just the misaligned part makes that bar crooked. At the end of the day, it’s a Chinese made kayak rack. Not the most expensive, not the cheapest. Seems to work well, and aside from the welds, the materials seem decent. They also supplied you with 2 trenches for assembly, which I didn’t bother to use.

Bought this rack after moving recently and needing a storage solution for our 2 sea kayaks in our garage. Previously we have hung our yaks from rafters but this wasn’t really an option in our new place.This is pretty sturdy and the option to move (on wheels) about was essential as it stands in a space where we need to get access to shelves etc on occasion. I can move both yaks on my own if needed and it has proved to be able to hold both our relatively hefty plastic sea kayaks with no dramas at all.

The kayak rack is very well made and is sturdy, holding the weight of 2 kayaks easily. The wheeled version is really handy for moving the kayaks around to get to things behind the rack. I highly recommend this rack. There were some reviewers that stated the instructions were hard to follow. I didn't have any trouble, and the rack went together nicely in about 90 minutes.

Some mixed reviews but photos of bigger boats on these racks swung the decision.Easy to build, maybe not the clearest pictures...put the support webbing to the back...but still easy to work out, even comes with spanners!Holds both boats with no issues both over 17 footReally pleased and a good price

East to follow set up instructions and only takes @1 hour. End result is a strong & sturdy rack for 2 x 9-10ft kayaks. I would recommend purchasing the wheels as well as it makes the rack easy to move around...I wheel it down to the boat ramp and back up again for overnight storage and I can easily manage it on my own without any problems. The lockable wheels are strong enough to keep it in place even on the sloped boat ramp. Great product
