I've worked in the industry for decades, and know raybestos to be reliable enough, so I ordered a matching pair for my little Corolla. While installing the trailing drivers side shoe the piston shot out and the assembly fell apart. I could not leave the car in pieces and wait for an exchange, so I had to purchase another pair from a local vender for double the cost that day. Very disappointing.

The new right wheel cylinder I installed caused 2 brake drums to have to be turned. When pressing the brakes I kept hearing the brake shoes rattling. Took off brake drum and watched the cylinder while brake was being pressed. The left side never engaged, only the right side of cylinder. Never thought a new cylinder would do this but it did. Bought and installed new cylinder from local parts store. Problem fixed. To begin with I purchased new drums, shoes, springs, adjusters, and wheel cylinders from amazon and installed them. One bad raybestos wheel cylinder I purchased from amazon cost me about $120.00 more. If you purchase one of these make sure you test it first before you install it. Never assume anything you purchase is good to go. Can't get a refund now because it is too late. Lesson learned. Thanks for nothing amazon! Get your act together. Be proactive about the quality of goods you are selling to the consumer. That's not asking for much considering how rich your customers have made you. If that offends you then put yourself in my shoes or someone else's who has gone threw the same thing. Other than that I guess we're good. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I love you baby.

the product is alright . Supplier should include a bolt to make it more complete
