Place Pointed tool vertically on the hole of A2, strike with hammer

Puch another hole and put B1 through the hole on B side base

Put B2 on B1
Step 8
Place concave tool vertically on the hole of B2, strike with hammer

Debated with myself whether to try this or just toss the year-old duty pants and buy new ones.Replacing the waist snap with these turned out to be very easy, even for a novice. Kit is complete except for the hammer which everyone has, instructions clear. Completed in less than ten minutes, including prying off the old snap, first try.Note the size if you are trying to match: the 15mm designation refers to the size of the larger outer piece.

I bought a lined fleece shirt and was impressed with the (high quality) snaps on it. I wanted to find how I could fix shirts that lost a button while traveling without carrying needle and thread. Amazon to the rescue I found and ordered 2 sets with snaps that looked like the ones on the shirt. The Raydodo arrived the next day. The kit came with 12 sets of 4 pieces with instructions to use the 4-piece tool-kit. My first attempt worked just fine. All the pieces fit nicely in a small plastic case 2/3 the size of my phone!The other arrived 10 days later. (I had forgotten about it.) The pieces (10 sets) came loose in two small plastic bags.The two sided "anvil" was not provided, nor a carry case or instructions. The hole-punch was much lighter and lower quality than the Raydodo. The side-side photo of the buttons show the higher finish and quality (left side) and the back side of the button shows 2-layer brass compared to the plastic mold-marks on the other brand.Not convinced? I'm paying $4.11 to mail back the other one that cost more than twice the cost of the Raydodo. I will probably give this Raydodo kit as gifts to F&F that would enjoy the benefits.NOTES: 1 the kit doesn't come with a hammer. 2 NOW I am looking for bulk sets of THESE quality snaps.

What can I say, used it to replace the snaps on my wallet and it could not have been much easier, even though I never did it before. The buttons hold very well, the tools feel good to use, simple and effective. Recommend for small leather projects and repairs.

Worked perfectly to repair a strap on a shoe and will outlast the shoe itself. Comes with everything you need for tooling other than a hammer to rivet it together.

Incredibly cheap, thin metal with no staying power. Easy to snap, too easy. Would not recommend or buy again.

I needed a replacement snap for the cuff of an aeropostale workwear jacket. These were the same size and style. Slightly different color but close enough. The first time i tried to do it, I didn't hammer hard enough and the little piece sticking up didn't get flattened enough and the snap wouldn't work because the piece sticking up was blocking the bottom snap part from getting in enough to snap. I figure that out and hammered harder and the piece flattened more and now it is much tighter to the material and the snap works. So far so good.

I totally believe people who know how to be handy find this tool helpful. I’m not hopeless, but it didn’t work for me. I wish it came with a link to a video with a QR code or something. I don’t understand what I did wrong. But it’s not easy.

Compact packaging in a plastic box, a kit you can keep for years perhaps. I replaced a snap myself on a garment that we bought with one missing. The kit had snaps that matched my garment closely, and though I never knew anything about snaps before, I was able to salvage my jacket quickly and easily myself! I gave the kit to a family member who may be able to use more of the contents. Very pleased with the purchase.
