The only reason I can think of that a previous reviewer gave them one star is that for some silly reason they expected them to be full-size vehicle recovery snatchblocks for $7. No, these are scale snatch blocks for remote control cars, and they are just fine. Fully metal, free-spinning pulley, with an opening mechanism just like a “real” snatchblock.I got these for my son’s RC truck after he watched a SmarterEveryDay episode on pulleys and snatchblocks, and is now fascinated by them.

So I don't race my truck or anything but just enjoy building and running them around the yard. These little snatch blocks and super awesome add ons to brighten up the lookJust make sure you tighten down the lock nut before installing, as one of mine was only hand tight. I amy in the future put a dab of locktite on just to ease my mind of losing parts.Great look and feel to to them, they should last quite a while.
