I got these plugs for my Gemeinhardt flute because they were priced better than the ones that said they were specifically for my brand of flute. Anyhow, my 10 year old wanted to try her hand at playing the flute but I knew my open hole flute was not meant for beginners so rather than buying a new flute I wanted to give plugs a try. I am happy to say that these plugs, while they came wrapped incredibly crazy in a wad of bubble wrap and packing tape, fit wonderfully and don't look like they are going to fall out without some help. And if one does fall out... I have 5 spares since this is a 10 pack! Awesome!

If you need these quick don't order because they came from China and took 3 weeks even tho it said "fulfilled by Amazon". I still gave 5 stars because the product works perfect. Fits perfectly into my Gemeinhardt flute. The price was right at just under $5 including shipping.

Bought for an older Gemeinhardt M3S. Plugs have a slight lip that I thought would help keep them from falling through. But they still seem a bit too loose. In addition to falling into the flute, they stick to fingers and pop out, within the first minute of playing. It happens more with 3 of the holes than the remaining 2, so either the plugs or the holes are not entirely uniform.I guess they are cheap, but I doubt we will have them long before they are lost.

I bought a set of these because the price was right. They fit very well in several brands of flutes, from professional to student, seem to be consistent, and the large quantity makes this package ideal for the teacher or for flutists who tend to lose plugs.

The top of the plugs need to be thicker and larger in diameter and the plug body needs to be larger in diameter and made of a harder formulation to prevent the plugs from being pushed through under normal playing conditions. Maybe some day someone will make such a plug but until then I recommend the silver capped cork plugs from eBay (Rich Lupo). More expensive but they function properly and look great.
