I purchased this for a Christmas gift. When he unpacked it he couldn't believe how light weight and thin it was initially. In no time it fluffed up and he remarked several times how it keeps him warm unlike his other coats. He still can't get over that it packs up so small for travel.

Used this backpacking in Yosemite. It’s not thick down so I also carry a similar down vest in case more warmth is needed. Packs tight and small. Would prefer the hood being removable or rollable into the collar. Overall, very comfortable and moderately warm.

Surprisingly warm, but not made to last. It's not a down parka, but with a few layers underneath, it'll keep you warm into the 40s. Trouble is the material is extremely thin and stitching is not very strong. It's great that it compresses into its little bag, but be careful when you wear it. All it would take is catching it once on a door latch or something, and it'll come apart.

Finally talked my 18-year old into wearing a coat and not just hoodies! We live in Ohio and it can get quite cold. After what he would describe as much searching (it was like 15 minutes), I came across this coat and he agreed that it looked good. When the coat arrived, I was a little nervous that he would reject it. He did not. It’s very lightweight, the fit was perfect and it came in his favorite color, black. He is able to wear his hoodie comfortably under the coat.

Wow. This thing is actually really good. Pleasantly surprised given the relatively low cost. Look, this is NOT a parka or ski jacket. This is a light down-filled jacket to keep the chill off. Super charge by layering with a fleece.

I have owned a lot of down, packable jackets. I was shocked at how little down was actually in this jacket. The baffles containing down do not puff out, but only get partially full as there is very little down. Also, the description is misleading on the hood. On one page it says (on the same page) "Shell and Lining 100% Nylon" and "Filling: 90% premium down" this is not true. The hood does not contain any down filling. Nice looking jacket, but I do not feel it would be very warm and description is misleading.

Likes..i can wear a few layers/sweater and still have mobility. Waiting for cold temps to arrive (-15 Celsius)..that will be the real test
