  • [Why Red Disc Seal is Needed] The Red Disc Seal addresses a common but a hidden issue. Tub spout could develop a leak without you knowing it, until it’s too late. The slip-on spout fits over a pipe. If there is ANY exposed/unsealed area around the pipe, water will get behind the finished wall. Then, you’ll notice water damage on the walls and the ceiling.
  • [Easy Return Policy] If you are not 100% satisfied, return the product within 30-days. And, we’ll also pay for the return shipping.
  • [Easy to install] 1. Remove the tub spout, 2. Clean the copper pipe, 3. Apply silicone caulk to the back of the Disc, 4. Slip the disc over the pipe and push it against the wall, 5. Apply silicone grease to the o-ring and slip it over the pipe, 6. Key step, seat the o-ring in to the back groove of the disc. See our detained installation video from an actual installation.

  • [Easy Return Policy] If you are not 100% satisfied, return the product within 30-days. And, we’ll also pay for the return shipping.
  • [Pipe Sizes?] Even thought the Copper pipe is called ½” Copper pipe, ½” refers to the inside diameter (ID) of the pipe NOT the outside diameter (OD). Therefore, the Red Disc Seal’s center hole is slightly larger than 5/8”. That being said, check out our video titled "Which 1, 2 or 3". It explains the different pipe sizes, Copper pipe and Galvanized steel pipe. If there is still a question regarding if Red Disc Seal will fit or not, please send us a message. We are right here in US.

Great product and great customer service.I originally purchased a 2-pack of the 1-piece version of this product, but when I removed my bathtub spout, I realized that it wouldn't fit, because my bathtub pipes have a spout fitting at the end that's wider than the pipe itself. After returning the 1-piece product, Red Disc Seal reached out to me and kindly offered to send the 2-piece version. This worked perfectly to seal over the gaps in my shower walls and was simple to install. Remove the spout, sand the pipe to remove any mineral deposits that might prevent a tight fit, then attach with waterproof caulk.

Buy silicone sealant to apply to back of disk while you're waiting on delivery! It's not mentioned until you get it and then, only after visiting installation video.Be sure to thoroughly prep the pipe.So far, it is working great. Before installing this, I had water leak from the tub into a kitchen cabinet below this bathroom. Glad we caught it before any damage occurred. No leaks and it is concealed. I wish it (the tub spout) was PERFECTLY flush, but it is fine, and barely noticeable that a tiny gap exists. Once I get a bead of silicone around the tub spout, you won't see any gap.

This greatly helped solve my problem. It fit right over the pipe like it said. You have to silicone behind the disk and let it dry. Then there is a small rubber O ring that you put in the middle and press it in the disk. The leaking situation on the side of my tub has gone away! It's nuts that they don't have to seal the wall behind these pipes, because if water dribbles backwards, it just goes into the wall cavity!

This was a snug fit sliding over the pipe and was easy to install. The diameter of the disc was a perfect fit behind the back end of the spout connecting to the wall. If your spout is a smaller than standard diameter where it meets the wall this may not fit. Make sure to measure first.

Purchased this for a rental property. Works well and gives us peace of mind for no water damage. We bought another one which didn't fit our application. Return was handled quick and seamlessly.
