This clock is definitely one of my favorite Amazon orders. It was a little intimidating to set up at first, because it has so many features, but once I started reading the manual, it was a breeze!Pros- Good size, just as expected- Beautiful design! Sleek and pleasing to the eye- Tons of optional features: clock, gradual sunrise light and/or steady night light (comes in several colors), bluetooth speaker, FM radio, sound alarm (birds chirping, piano, radio, beeping, or none), dimmable light and numbers, etc.- Light display has red light setting which doesn't disrupt sleep cycles- Setup video available and clear instructions in manual, plus a quick reference sheet with a diagram and bluetooth instructions- Instructions are surprisingly clear and it seems like whoever wrote them actually put some effort into proofreading them!- Cord comes with its own wall jack- 12-month warranty! (Haven't needed to use it yet)- Snooze and alarm-off buttons both have bumps on them so you can feel them in the dark- I have to re-emphasize how much I love the dimmable numbers! Sometimes clock numbers are way too bright at night! You can turn these completely off or have them super bright, or anything in between- Dimming dials are easy to feel in the dark as well, and have a wide range of adjustment- Super cool that it saves your settings when it gets unplugged or the power goes out- FM radio can scan through stations and automatically save the ones that actually work. Some of these stations seem to come through even better than in my car!- It actually gets impressively bright! And can of course also dim down to nothing. The volume range is pretty wide as well, and audio quality is surprisingly decentCons- The setup does take a little longer than some might have the patience for. But it is so much less confusing than other similar products I've used before!- Like many digital alarms, you can only set one alarm, so you can't set a different alarm for weekends.This product is definitely in the higher price range for an alarm clock, but it is truly gorgeous, and for all the features you're getting, I'd say it is probably worth it if you're looking for a sunrise alarm clock with lots of extra options for customization! You can turn any of the features on or off, including the number display itself! I am using it to get light in my eyes at the same time each morning but without any loud noises to wake me up suddenly. It's perfect! Highly recommend.I will update my review if anything changes.

I have a different brand of one of these daylight clocks and I wish it would do some different things. Thought I would try this and compare features. The other one I have is plastic-y white so I appreciate the "aesthetic" of the wood grain. I can also dim the numbers to where it's not hardly visible in the daytime but I can see it at night. It has lots of different colors as a nightlight and you can dim them. What you cannot dim is the sunrise function. You can set a timer to increase the length of time that it "warms up" over. But once it is warmed up it is full blast and you can't change that setting. The buttons are very clear and the instructions easy to understand. It only has 4 sounds for alarms one including the FM radio function. It does connect to blue tooth so you can send your music to it. I hit snooze this morning on my "sunrise" alarm. It immediately turned the light off. The problem which I stated earlier is it is too bright with no option to change it (unlike the nightlight which you can change all the colors and brightness levels) Once snooze was over the light popped back on at full brightness which was startling to snooz-y me. The other one I bought was about $32 and functions more or less the same. I don't think the fake wood look is worth $20. Maybe it works for other people but for my husband and I, we're just looking for something different I guess. A lot of the features (bluetooth, nightlight) would all be good for a child/baby room.

I have a hard time waking up in the winter when it's still dark outside. I thought I'd give this clock a try to see if the sunrise function would help me wake up easier. The directions for set up are easy to read and follow. I haven't actually tried the radio function because I hardly listen to the radio stations anymore.My favorite thing about the clock is the sunrise function. 30 minutes before the alarm goes off it gradually increases the clock light until full brightness. It really is bright, but the light is diffused through the faux wood finish on the front so it won't bother other people in the room. I am amazed with how much of a difference it makes in helping me wake up in the mornings. I also really like the dials on the back that allow you to dim the clock display independently of the night light. The led night light has many color options that are fun to play with. I don't like the controls for turning of the snooze and turning off the alarm. It's not intuitive and sometimes I just have to press buttons until it figure it out if I'm not looking at it. The clock has a nice feature where the alarm button has two bumps on it, so you can tactilely feel which button to push to turn off the alarm. It's just not a very big button and often I end up pressing the buttons on either side. Overall, I like the alarm clock a lot.
