I use the #2 hooks where I dropshot, primarily in Lake Erie and the Niagara River (walleye and smallmouth bass). These hooks are nice and sharp, and I've rarely lost a fish once hooked on one of these. Dropshotting is my go-to Summer technique, when fish are more scattered and wary of fishing pressure throughout the area. I prefer to jig from my boat, but I never leave home without at least one or two dropshot rigs.Dropping a star as it would've been nice if these hooks were inside a plastic case rather than a bag, but not the end of the world. Great hooks nonetheless, definitely recommend.

I have used these 1/0 hooks for drop-shotting plastic worms and grubs, hellgrammite lures, live minnows, live worms, and corn. The only thing I have not caught fish on was the corn, probably because the carp in my local lake are too wary. I've also lost a few hooks because they are so sharp, they penetrate wood as easily as fish and fingers; that's not a bad thing, I just need to cast more accurately. I love these hooks, they aren't overpriced, and I will buy more!

These hooks fir kokanee really work well my catch ratio went up because of the design and hooking matrix of the hook design, I recommend these wsy more hhan the standard octopus style hooks from gammy.
