I bought the 1/2 oz size and caught a trout with it today. I was casting from the shore at a reservoir. It is the same design as the good old Hopkins spoon, but it is made out of tungsten. This makes it very small. It is smaller than kastmaster spoon half of its weight. I can cast it 50 yards on my 7ft light weight casting rod.Since it sinks fast, the retrieve is faster than usual and since it is also small, jigging it during retrieve is a breeze. It is really fun to cast and retrieve.Although I replaced the treble hook with a barbless single hook, I appreciate the fact that the treble hook came with its plastic shields.

Like the product and once I can use the spoons I will be happy to give a much more informative review. Yes I do plan on more purchases from Reaction .

The hooks are absolute garbage had to replace them immediately. They bend and the Barb is nonexistent. After a season of use the finish is deteriorating and crumbling.

Had to change out the hook for a larger size hook... other than that, the spoon is nice...

These sink fast and will be great for targeting schooled up fish. Bought them for targeting lake trout in deeper water was out today ice fishing and these got to the bottom of 30 feet in the matter of a couple seconds. So when the fish are in pairs or groups these will be great to get back down and catch any others left around.
