I bought these shorts primarily to get workout shorts whose inseam didn't go down to my knees. Shorts that do go to my knees are a 7-inch inseam. These being supposedly 5-inch seams, I thought I had found the perfect shorts. While they are comfortable and lightweight, I'm kind of disappointed that the legs fall down to mid-knee. I'm 5"11 and 280 pounds, and the XXLs fit very comfortably.UPDATE: I wore another pair from the five-pack of shorts and they were shorter than the black pair that was in the bag. I took a tape measure to the black pair and the other pair from the same pack. The black pair did have an inseam that is 7 inches. The other pair that fit properly did have a 5-inch inseam. I have no clue how the longer black pair got into the package, but if anyone from the company that makes the shorts sees this review, I sure would like to have a black pair of these shorts with a 5-inch inseam.

I bought these for my son who just entered a men’s small. The length is so good - not too long like so many shorts. The material is comfortable for him to wear all day. I’ll buy more colors for sure.

For the price, these shorts will work. However, as a large-size man, the cut is very awkward. The rise is extremely long, making the shorts fit strangely around the crotch - as in much too much fabric leaving a sag so that the actual crotch of the shorts is about halfway down my thigh. To wear them correctly, I need to pull the waistband up to my ribs. I think that the makers figured that once you get above 2XL, EVERY measurement needs to be increased, which is not the case. Other than this ill-fit, they are comfortable in terms of fabric. They are suitable for wearing around the house, but I wouldn't leave home with them on.

The quality is perfect for workout shorts. Not too thick or thin for me. The appearance is great for all that they are. Elasticity is perfect on the SHORTS only but nothing else. I say that as the pockets is the biggest let down, if I had known as bad as they are I would not have purchased.The pockets DO NOT USE as everything hangs down too your knees. The wearer is left embarrassed by all that dangles from the pockets…Awesome shorts ruined by the pockets.

Material is very soft, lightweight, thin and stretchy. It’s very comfortable to wear. I wonder if they make a long pants version with this same fabric.I normally wear medium or large in bottoms but for these I chose M and I’m happy with them. They hug the butt a little.The only thing I don’t like about these shorts are the pockets. They hang pretty low and can peek under the hem of the shorts when I carry a phone.Saw some reviews saying they weren’t 5†inseam - that’s false, they are 5 inches. See photos for measurements.

Great colors and good value. One pair the seam had let go before ever wearing which is why they are a higher rating.
