The mats are so strong in order not to bend the product you should use the cricut tools.

i found these to be stickier than the cricut brand mats. that is ok for the strong grip but for the light grip it ruined my paper project.

These mats have been working great for me. They are good quality and the sticky surface has been staying good and sticky! The purple works great for heavy materials. I will be buying these again.
