About this item

  • 【Compatible with】The Rear AC Block Off Kit Fit for: Chevrolet Suburban 2000-2013 , Cadillac Escalade 2000-2013, GMC Yukon XL 2000-2013, GMC Tahoe 2000-2013
  • 【High-Quality Material】The knobs are made of high-quality aluminum alloy CNC. The bolts and nuts are all 304 stainless steel. HNBR is the sealing material specially used in the cooling system. It is more durable than NBR and common rubber washers, and greatly reduces the possibility of installation leakage.
  • 【Upgraded Design】 There is no need for any modification of the front air conditioning lines. Simply disconnect the rear lines and install this kit. This allows for front air conditioning operation without the loss of refrigerant from the rear lines or evaporator. This makes it unnecessary to absorb the costly replacement of the rear air conditioning lines or evaporator.
  • 【Function】Eliminate the AC rear air conditioner, use our customized accessories to keep your rear AC system, allowing cold front air conditioners at the lowest cost.
  • 【Easy to Install】 The fittings are installed at the connection location of the rear air conditioning lines.

If you need A/C this summer in your work truck/SUV that had rear A/C, this can block off the leaky section in the back and keep the pressure up front only. The rear evaporator tends to get corroded/dented and starts to leak, becoming a problem for the whole system. This is a cheap fix. Just follow some videos on youtube on how to install it.

I will share a story to see whether this product may be right for you...My old Escalade AC wasnt working. I recharged at home and it didnt last. My father borrowed the truck and cooked, so he took to a mechanic. The fellow checked for leaks, didnt find any, and recharged the AC system. All was well for a few days. Then hot air. Returned to the mechanic who tried again. No leaks, but didnt want to waste more R134. He shared that the AC lines to the rear of the truck could have a pin hole leak somewhere in the rear, but the body hides some of the line and dye cannot reach all the way back anyway. This was the recommendation: block off the rear line with this device. Draw a vacuum on the line for 20 min and then recharge. Yes, you are now running AC in the front, but it should be enough in most cases. Watch some videos online to install, its a shade tree mechanic job that takes 30 min tops (not included the vacuum and recharge). Hope this helps someone else.
