After discovering that a very similar Block Off Kit kit for 2012 Chevy Express 3500 was going to cost me almost $90 with shipping, I noticed that the photos for this kit looked very similar so I purchased this kit just to see if I could make it work. It turned out that the low pressure block worked almost perfectly. The only issue was that the angle of the seal once clamped down was a little off, clamping down a bit too far on the seal side closest to the bolt. So I cut the old seal in half and used it as a spacer under the far side of the bolt which raised up the bolt side sufficient to seat the seal perfectly level. Mission accomplished!Unfortunately, the high pressure side block-off was not even close to working, but I could have easily modified the block to sit and seal level. I figured all it would take was a hack saw and a file to cut down the bolt side of the block about 3/16 of an inch, which I elected not to do. Instead, I cut off the aluminum tubing at about 2 inches from the old block, clamped the end of the tubbing in a vise to crimp it flat, and then folded over just he end of the flattened tubing a couple times. The first time it folded over it split the aluminum tubing such that it likely wouldn't seal. But the second time I folded it over it did so without splitting. After gently flattening out the folds with a hammer on my anvil it looked like it would seal so I used the new seal provided with the kit to replace the old seal that I'd cut in half previously and reinstalled the block. Both the high and low pressure blocks sealed and worked perfectly and my AC recharged with no leaks or issues. Given that I spent less than $15 for this kit and saved $75 I'm glad my gamble getting this kit paid off.

The AC on my '05 Tahoe wasn't working. It would take an entire can of refrigerant just to get the compressor to kick on. The system still wouldn't blow cold, or even cool, and would leak out quickly. This block off installed easily and quickly and now the front cab blows nice and cold!Highly recommended if you can't or don't want to afford replacing the AC lines to the rear.

Will not fit. To large on both sides that go into the lines, you can probably make then work with a grinder . Buy the more expensive kit or part store. Zero starts off possible.

Not a bad product for the price, the seals I were sent were different then the listing pictures and ended up causing leaks in the system. Use the OEM seals and you shouldn’t have any issues!

Bought these to temp patch ac system as the lines to the rear ac condenser are $$$$$$$$. Worked great. Especially during the middle of summer and ac line blew out in the rear. No leaks around the mating surface. Held vacuum. Definitely recommend to temporarily get ac system up and running. Just side note you will not have full strength ac as your rear condenser is disconnected
