I am glad I bought this kit. Worked very good except one sealing washer was not the right thickness for my application. I bought a bag of Air Conditioning seals for GMC products at the orange colored auto parts store. AC is still blowing cold almost one year later.

I've been chasing my tail on a slow AC leak in a 2007 Yukon. I figured I'd use the block-off to help isolate whether the leak is "up front" or if the party is going on in the back. I'm over 2 weeks out now and still have AC pressure so it appears to have diagnosed and solved my issue! Will see next summer whether replacing the rear lines are worth the cost.Product is beautifully machined and comes with the fastener and the seals for each. I had to unbolt the tubing where the orifice tube lives in order to get enough clearance to disconnect the rear line after it was unbolted. I was aware of this so purchased a new orifice tube while I was at it. There is a seal for that connection but one of those assortment packs had a suitably sized seal.Great product!

Doesn’t even remotely fit my 2008 Tahoe and the bolt doesn’t thread all the way down so it never seals

Had to purchase the correct bolt separately from the hardware store in order to complete the job. Other than that the installation was easy and works great.

The rear air system was leaking on my 07 Tahoe. It was going to be $1,500 to replace the rear line.Given that this is my work beater, I opted to block off the rear ac instead which was basically the cost of an evac and recharge, about $220.This is a great option if you aren’t toting your whole family around, and just need the front air to blow cold.

Warm weather is back here in the NE and the rear AC lines rubbed through halfway back on the Yukon. Started looking up replacement lines, not exactly readily available. Alternative options look okay, but a little pricey. Have a trip planned in a few weeks, so block offs were the choice for now. Easy install, no leaks after 2 weeks of recharge. Ice cold A/C.

In my case, no one rides in rear of my suburban. Much cheaper than replacing lines. My leak would be a pain to splice repair cause of location. This kit is very simple to install. Been on bout 2 weeks still holding good charge. Highly recommend if rear air is not a issue.

2013 Yukon. Bolt and seals are not as shown. Plan to re use old seals (or purchase proper seals elsewhere) and to find another bolt that is either shorter or threaded most of the length of the bolt
