Fairly easy to install. I recommend you find the right size tap to clean the threads in the truck frame to get rid of rust or paint. If you don't have a tap lubricate the threads and run the bolts in without the step in place to make the install easier. The only thing I don't like is the plastic step that screws on does flex some when you step on it. The step makes getting into the bed of the truck easy.
