I needed a place for storage as the golf cart I own does not have any storage. I keep my hats and eyeglasses in there.

Not sure about all of the negative reviews on here. I found the product to be perfectly fine. Installation was super-easy. By myself, it took less than 5 minutes. Everything lined up perfectly. It's not super-thick plastic, but it is on par with that which the dash is made of which is plenty sturdy for the intended purpose.

The install was easy with the existing screws. The photo used in the description of the product shows screws but we received none. The product is sturdy and works as described. Definitely recommend the product, just make sure the screws are included with future orders.

My wife saw this on a friend's golf cart and had to have it. I saw the reviews about it being a bit overpriced (it is) not being made out of the sturdiest material (also true), and being a bit difficult to install (yep), but gave it a try anyway. And it's great. Fits just fine, high enough to avoid headroom issues or interfering with the rearview mirror, but low enough to allow for a good bit of storage. Like several others mentioned, you'll want to line it with something soft to cut down on rattling; I used very thin bubble wrap and we don't hear a sound while we're driving. The only issue was installation. It requires removing the four bolts that hold the cart roof to the frame, putting the tray in place, then threading the bolts back through. Because of the way my cart roof was installed, I could either get the front two or rear two bolts through the holes, but not all four. The solution turned out to be removing two of the plastic tabs on each side (see photo). Was quite simple to do with a sharp box cutter for the rough cutting and a razor scraper to get everything smooth. This then gave me the room to move the storage tray the 1/8 inch or so it needed and I had it installed in five minutes. We've already been asked by several folks where they can get one.

This was the only storage we could find without losing dashboard space. My husband had no troubles installing in our 2021 Yamaha Golf Car. It is thin plastic not very thick/solid but it was all I could find. I did have to put a towel down so the items we store don’t rattle around (our golf course is bumpy). Considering there is nothing else I could find for storage this works and I’m happy with it. I would recommend if you need additional storage. We use it for our water golf ball retriever, sunglasses, hubby’s wallet, toilet paper, etc. small stuff - nothing big or bulky.

What could be a problem, it has no drain holes if it gets water in it! we bought it for storage on city trips.
