These are all metal which will make for a better installation. Many kits are made of plastic, and they will not tighten down without breaking sometimes.Use a good quality Adhesive Promoter such as 3M brand when installing the 3M double-sided adhesive pads.

Had issues of studs breaking from just taking off louvers. These are stronger than originals.So far the only issue is they are slightly bigger than the original studs on my MMD louvers, but they still fit through original holes, just a little tight. MMD should improve on their quality for $500 louvers.

If you lost some of the components or they didn't come with the part this set will work great.

Very good idea! The double sided tape not too strong enough. So I bought a 3M molding tape to make it work more stronger. I recommend using this item though.

At first works great but after a few weeks adhesive gets weak and doesn’t hold

I purchased a second hand louver without the 3M installation kit until I decided to go to Amazon to see the prices from other competitors and I purchased this kit which so far is holding strong the louver. Very easy to install and no need to drill holes. Make sure you clean the rear window with a bit of medicated alcohol and window swipes and leave it to dry for 3-5 minutes for better results.
