I walk our small dog each morning (in the dark, about 5am), typical small-city neighborhood that has typical street lighting for the circumstances and we encounter about 3 to 5 vehicles daily, 30 mph environment. We walk on the street as there are no sidewalks, so I’ve been carrying a small flashlight for visibility. Not trying to be weird here, but when I must bend over to retrieve the dog’s deposit’, I always have had a moment of fumble keeping the flashlight operationally visible to traffic with one hand while doing what I must. I found this lighted sash, and it is perfect. It is easily put on (over my winter coat) as you could see. It has very bright lights (which flash fast, or slow, or not at all, your choice with the button on the sash) with a reflective sash, lights controlled by the push of a perfectly mounted button, and includes a nice lanyard clip (from which I now suspend my small flashlight,…which frees up both hands). The sash is light in weight, rugged in composition, and accomplishes all aspects of need. The built-in battery is rechargeable via a USB-c port, and I use the lights about 20 minutes each day. I haven’t had enough days to know how long a charge lasts, but after almost a weeks worth of usage it’s still going strong. I absolutely appreciate this product.

This thing is super bright, love it! I’ve used it about 15 times so far at about 30 minutes each time and haven’t had to recharge yet.

I've moved on to an e-bike over a car for 95% of my transportation. Not a problem for me in my city/suburban area, but in the winter it can get a bit risky riding in the dark since I have to ride on the roads. I bought this sash to make myself more visible, and I think it does a great job of alerting drivers of a bicyclist on the road.There are three modes: solid, slow flash, and fast flash. I use mine on slow flash. I have had no problems with battery power -- I've had it a month and have charged it once via the USB port but it didn't really need it. My dark rides probably total about 45 minutes per week so the battery easily lasts for hours.The sash is comfortable to wear. The connection point is assembled so that it lies flat against your body at the waist. This means that the LEDs are always flat against your chest and back and highly visible. My security camera caught me coming home one night and I was pleased at how visible the sash made me.I'm very happy with this sash, would buy another, and wholeheartedly recommend it for bike commuting or for kids riding around at dusk in the neighborhood.

Does exactly what you want it to do. Just seems a little a big, but when I’m wearing a big jacket that’s not such an issue. I switched to a 180 degree headlamp when I walk the dog now, but I keep this in my truck in case I ever have a roadside incident.

I walk my dog in the dark and was using a light up leash. The leashes would break or stop working after a season. I have a big golden retriever. This sash is great to add light on our walks and it keeps me safe. I don’t like when I can’t see other walkers and neighbors have told me that this is great on me. I also love the little light that helps me locate my dogs presents.

It's perfect! So glad that it worked right out of the box (didn't have to charge it first). And I love that it is USB chargable (cord included). Just throw it over your head & go. Would fit over bulky coat as well as a t-shirt - which I don't think a vest would do. Should be named ....Lighted Sash, instead of Lighted Vest, since it's really not a vest (as you can see from the picture). I also love that it has 3 light settings - solid, quick flash & slow flash. Highly recommend.

Lights up nicely. Feel safer when walking at night. It does slip off when bending or kneeling to pick up after dog. Tiny flashlight helps with the picking up!

I previously had arm bands which were small and annoying to put on and could only be seen from 1 side. This harness slips on and is highly visible. Love it

Works as intended. Clip at bottom of sash is a nice feature. Only 4 stars because wrong item was sent with the first order; had to return the incorrect item for a refund then reorder. Not sure how it will withstand the rain, time will tell
