These are absolutely great card protectors for my 3x5 recipe and index cards. When I received them, they were not what I was expecting. They were more the consistency of a thin type crinkle like cellophane material. I was actually a little disappointed, but for the price, I decided to give them a try. To my surprise I found they’re very durable. I’ve not had one split yet as others that I’ve used in the past. The sleeve is a small fraction bigger than my standard 3x5 recipe or index cards making them the perfect size. They slide easily over my cards without any difficulty. The sleeve extends about an 1/8 of an inch beyond the end of the card once it’s inserted. They’re crystal clear in transparency. I’ve had no problem with them yellowing, nor any haziness that I get with the soft plastic protector sleeves I’ve used in the past. With a card inserted, they fit nicely into my 3x5 recipe box w/out any bulkiness or having to be trimmed. The best part, they’re economically priced compared to others I’ve used. This was my third order buying 2-3 packs of 200 at a time. I definitely recommend them if you’re interested in trying them. I received NO free products or gratuity for this review; just my honest opinion expressed related to my experience with using them .

My intention was never to use this for recipes, and it worked great! I used it to make a reusable game board. Perfect to protect my trivia questions but also put a point value on the outside. My students loved the game board!

I ordered plenty since I began the never-ending task of going through all the recipes from my mom and grandma, along with countless magazine pages and church cookbooks. These fit recipe cards as well as 3x5 cards. I love them. Keeps my treasures nice and clean and easy to wipe off.

I loved covering all my tried and true recipes so I can pass them on to my daughters. I gave 4 stars because the plastic is thinner than the ones I’ve used in the past.

The sturdiness for actual recipe cards would be a 5 star, but I’m not using these for that purpose on this particular purchase. They are very clear, I love the sheerness of them, for whatever use. I will be buying the same brand, but in a 4 x 6 size for my recipe cards to go in my Longaberger basket when I get it set up. They will be excellent for the purpose the were actually made for. Keeping the cards clean and easy to wipe off anything you may get on them while cooking.Anyway, my purchase of the 3 x 5 protection sleeves this time is as a trial to help keep my Maniology nail stamping plates fingerprint and scratch free as I’m looking through them. I have purchased a box to “file†them in. And I’m going to make dividers to separate them into collections. The length is perfect and the width is about a half inch larger, but that helps me to insert and remove them without any issues. And I think I might label each protector in some way, also. Still a work in progress. I will upload pics and/or video when I’m working on and completed my project.

Used to protect 4x6 index cards used for recipes. Would have preferred ones that had reusable seal on end but in my opinion, others cost prohibitive. These work well. Fairly easy to insert index cards and I don’t see the cards slipping out very easily. Expect protectors to do the intended job. Satisfied.. Will update if slips tear or don’t perform satisfactorily.

Protectors are a nice thickness.Update: reorder a qty of 300 this time and when received i noticed they were very thin compared the the first ones i bought. Appear to be 1/2 the thickness. If you order maybe order the 200 and hopefully you will get the nice ones.
