As there were more expensive options when I was searching for it and going over the reviews, I acquired this model with some skepticism. I have to say that I was very impressed by the efficiency and ease of use.Great tool to take care of these thicker branches that otherwise you would need a regular saw to remove them. Also having 2 batteries is always a plus. I recommend buying this product.

I received this reciprocating cordless saw. I took it out of the box looked it over looks and feels really nice in your hand. Put the batteries on charge after the charge was done I loaded the battery in the saw I put a large tooth blade in the saw and went out and trimmed the tree in my front yard. The saw worked very well has plenty of power cut right through the limbs. Then I put a metal cutting blade in the saw and cut up some old scrap metal I had so I could haul it off. It has plenty of power to cut through metal. I would recommend this saw to anyone looking to buy a reciprocating saw you can't go wrong with saw.

This product is a great value for the price. It is well constructed and comes in perfect condition as it is mounted in styrofoam inside of a box which was shipped alongside packaging material inside of an Amazon box!It comes with two batteries, a charger instructions, and the main unit. An assortment of blades are included, although there's nothing special or proprietary about them. You can use any blades. There are no confusing controls. Only a trigger to pull. The battery is locked in place and provide a charge indicator so you know how much is left.I see. I saw. I made firewood. I'm going to take this with me camping, in case I need to chop up some hardwood. I have my hatchet for softwood, and a small saw.... But this thing means business!The only other question is the test of time and I will update this review if it ever breaks down on me. I am not planning on using this 40 hours a week, so it might be a while before house projects could ever destroy it. I think this thing will outlast me.!

Overheats in less than 15 minutes of use. Outside temp was only about 60 degrees. Had it less than a week and it stopped working.
