It is thin and I thought it might slide on the wood floor, but it doesn’t. The chair stays on the mat and they do not move. Very happy with this item!

This mat works perfectly! Recliner stays put on the fake hardwood floors. Haven't even had to adjust it's position since I got it a few days ago. Smooth side goes down towards the floor, dimpled side receives the chair.

I’m an old arthritic woman who would like to have had a little help putting it in place but eventually did it. It doesn’t show at all and keeps my chair in place when I place my hands on the arms and lift myself up. This action previously moved my chair and made me feel a bit unsafe. That problem is now solved!

This very poor quality pad comes folded up and hard to open. Once it was under the chair it buckled and looked terrible. Think of paper on a soft surface with weight on it. Plus the chair slides with it anyway. Like when moving a large item you put it on fabric/blanket to slide it. Works the same way and the recliner slides.

We needed a mat under a recliner that my husband uses that kept sliding. We tried a couple different things, but then we got this mat and it has been working beautifully. No slipping and no sliding. Aside from having to pick up the recliner it was easy to install
