Momentary Design

The power window switch in a Western Star 4964EX Truck is not easy to find and when you do, people think they're worth $100+. I bought this to try it out. Can't go wrong at this price. Plugged it into the factory wiring and it works the window properly.

Their wasn’t anything that I disliked about this switch.I had a need to replace OEM switch that had a circuit board built into it that failed. I had to control two dc motors that opened and closed privacy shades on my Motorhome. To accomplish this i needed to be able to switch power from positive to negative in order to change the direction of the motor. I new what needed to control the motors but never seen anything on the market that fit the bill , I came across these switch’s so I ordered this switch in hoped for the best. Well I was surprised how well it worked and just had to provide positive and negative and the switch took over from there.

I installed an actuator on my Polaris bed. I used the switch to active the dump bed. Nice!!!

The switch works well and has a nice rocker switch feel. It is designed for boat and rv installations and has adapter plates for those. One improvement I would like is to have an adapter plate for installing in a standard 120vac household box.

Many times when a product arrives it is 1/2 the size, or poorly made or something is just a little bit disappointing. Not this switch!!! it looks great, works just as I wanted and came pre wired with leads that are long enough to be useful, great wire markers, good mounting hardware. I needed three but only ordered one out of fear.... took me less than a minute to order the other two. very happy I chose these switches!!!!!!

This is a top shelf product. The switch comes prewired ready to connect to your project. The different mounting options and parts you receive is above all others on the market. I highly recommend this switch. I’m using it on my snowblower although it doesn’t say it is waterproof I have no issue with it so far.

The switch comes with all the wires pre-attached, and labelled! It clearly guides you to get your power source and devices connected correctly; I use it to control four linear actuators and it works great.There are multiple mounting options available so you should find one that works for you, but check out the product description to be sure. Ours is mounted into the side of a wooden bed frame.

If one wants to illuminate the switch on both up and down lights all the time one must use the switch as a SPDT and use two separate relays. The terminals on the right hand side (4 tabs) are for the SPDT switch and ground; and the terminals on the left (3 tabs) for continuous switch lighting. Type: 'winch switch continuous lighting' in YouTube for information. The same function on all these types of switches where you use it for reverse polarity (actuators). Not just winches.
