Other than the plastic housing, this is a great unit. The potentiometer has a great feel. Not loose like some loose costing brands. And the RCAs are beefy.

I wish the knob stem was longer so it could be installed with only the stem and knob sticking out of a hole in the mounting location. The knob does come off, but the stem is not long enough for that type of install.

Tried installing this in my daughter’s car. Spent hours trying to figure why there was no bass, checked the whole system over and over except for this cuz I figured it was brand new it had to be working, thought maybe it was her stereo receiver, then finally about to give up tried an old one I had laying around and everything worked fine. Didn’t bother returning it complaining cuz it was only a few bucks but won’t buy this brand again ever.

For under $20 shipped to your door, this does everything you will need it to do (to put it simply). It feels quality, comparable to products 2x the price that do the same thing. It looks good, and its perfect if you’re just looking for a subwoofer level control to pair with multiple amplifiers or an amp that didn’t come with its own knob.

I think that this Recoil remote bass controller is the 2nd best thing to control your new SoundQubed F series amplifier if you're a little short on the dough. It also has this clicky thing when as you turn the knob. It does what it should, could be better if it has power an clipping indicator. If only Amazon can also sell the SoundQubed SK-1 bass controller, I could have bought it too. All in all no complaints. It works!
