I purchased this product for my miniature schnauzer in hopes of teaching him to "speak" to us. I wanted him to let us know when he needed to go outside, ask for a cookie, or indicate that he was hungry. Unfortunately, my dog goes wild whenever he hears any kind of "toy" talk. I thought using my own voice would make a difference, but he still went crazy!Overall, I believe the product functions as advertised. Recording my voice and setting it up was very easy. If your dog doesn't react aggressively to voices coming from toys or similar devices, this might work well for you.

My mom order this for our dogs and we could not record our voices. It makes a weird sound each time we try to record, but we’ve tried multiple times and it still did not work.
