Update: I’ve had this product over a year now and I wish I hadn’t bought it. At first it was stiff but it quickly softened up, too much. Now you can feel the metal frame when you sit on it. It is terrible to sleep on. The back part isn’t flat and when you lay on that half and it is very lumpy. I accepted that it wouldn’t work for guests to sleep on, even though that was the entire reason I purchased it. However, when it got uncomfortable to even sit on, now it’s just a waste. After shipping and taxes I spent $963 and it’s going to wind up in the trash after just over a year. Do not recommend. A little flimsy but could be fixed by building a wooden base like most rvs have. Felt kinda stiff the first few days and material was a little more rough than I expected but it’s overall comfortable. We used longer screws to stabilize it. It’s a nice size and I like the fact that it’s armless. It doesn’t take up too much room when open. I took the front plate of so I can use all the space underneath for storage. So far I really like it
