Colors: Cords come in black, white, or tan to match your shades.
Each kit repairs up to 5 shades. Kit comes with easy restringing instructions.

This kit includes the essentials needed to restring or repair your day, night, or night and day pleated shades of either the two cord or four cord variety. In a few minutes, you can fix your shades and extend their life instead of entirely switching them. It will work with most (non-imported) shades on the market.

Calculate how much cord you will need

  1. Add together: Shade width in inches x 2 = Shade Length + 5 =
  2. Using the subtotal from step one, multiply by the number of cords in your shade, which will give you the total number of inches you need. This kit includes 5 cords that are 240 inches long, For a total of 1,200 inches in each kit.

I only needed the strings to repair my accordion blind as the other components were in good condition. Everything in the kit is high quality and the instructions are excellent. My repair went very well and the blind is now like new

Very easy to fix the blinds! Great product! Just one unit was plenty to fix a 4 string blind. 3 leftovers for when the others wear out. Plenty of instruction vids on YouTube.

These are exactly what you need for those string blinds in your RV. They seem to be better than the originals.

Had one of our shade strings in our RV go bad. The price was great and we decided to try to replace the single string rather than ordering a new shade. Installing was a nightmare, took two people over 2 hours to get the job done. Part of the issue was none-to-clear instructions and the difficulty of removing and reattaching the shade. Hubby said never again. He is mechanically inclined, with a huge shop full of tools. Rarely see him this frustrated. The string did the job and fixed the shade, adjustment is not perfect, that string is a little longer than the other, still trying to get it to work better.

If they were just a bit harder in texture I’d liked them better. But they do the trick. We watched YouTube videos on threading the 4 strings. This kit came with instructions for 2 strings.

Everything was there to do the job, and 1/2 the cost of the Big Box RV World….Did not have the pattern in the instructions for my style, but online had it.See above!

I used this product, it's only been about a year ago and it has already worn-out. To be fair I do live in my camper full time and the shades get used every day. Although the original ones lasted for over 4 years.
