An unfortunate skid off the road caused my sewer tube holder to get damaged. So nice to find these exact fitting ends! Much cheaper than replacing the entire tube.

The doors on my hose caddy fell off. They either fell off or were stolen in front of my house while we packed the RV before a recent trip. Why would somebody steal my 2 doors? I don't know. What was sent to me in this order included the door as well as the ends that the doors snap into. Since the ends were fine I just installed the doors into the ends that I already had. Perfect fix, I guess.

It was an exact replacement. All I needed was the door.

As mentioned in several other reviews, there were no installation instructions or tips provided with this product. The product itself is fine, but installing it was a little tricky. One of my hinge tabs was broken off, so I could not replace just the door only, I had to remove the whole end cap. My original end caps were glued on, so it was easier to remove the whole tube from under my van (2022 Winnebago Solis) to have better access. Once the tube was out I used a heat gun to melt the glue on the old end cap and then pulled it off. Be careful with the heat gun. The plastic tube is thin and its easy to melt it. It is not an ABS or PVC pipe. I glued on the new end cap using ABS pipe cement. This worked well but I'm not sure if this was the correct glue to be using. I also ended up with the overall length of the tube being about a half inch shorter so the mounting bolt holes on the brackets no longer lined up. I lengthened the mounting holes a little bit with a file to solve this problem. It all turned out well in the end. These caps are a lot cheaper then buying a whole new tube assembly but be prepared to do a little work to install them.

This cover has metal clasps vs the original unit plastic ones (same company) which I broke and why I needed a replacement. Fairly easy to install but know the original tube (you will need to remove the tube) has rivets which I had to drill out and reinstall new rivets. Not a big effort but somewhat time consuming and installing takes more than basic skills. Good product, works as it should.

The replacement end caps for the RecPro sewer hose storage tube were exactly the same as the originals. The hinge pins are a bit delicate, as I learned the hard way, but with the appropriate caution, I will only swivel the cap and be sure not to apply any other pressure on it. The replacement installed easily.

For my sewer drain tube storage. My tube is the adjustable type, can spread or be pushed together for the width of the vehicle. This makes one end of the tube “not the caps†have a small sleeve inside that goes into the tube AND into the inside of the cap ring or base.So have glue available for the caps to the tube, but also from the tube to the sleeve.I 100% recommend these as replacement for the Valterra “same company†for the sewer drain pipe storage caps. The ones I replaced were glued so removing them was a chore. I used a dremel to cut the base of the cap every couple inches and a knife “sharp chisel would work too†between them to get them apart tapping with a small hammer to break the glue vs tear the sleeve or damage the tube. But they did not come off the pipe whole for mine.Just information so you’re prepared if you take this on.I again 100% would suggest these to others. I would buy them again without question.

Fit my Valterra A04-5094BK RV Adjustable EZ Hose Carrier perfectly. Thought I could just change the door but hinge was broke on the mount. Was easy getting the mount off by removing the tube from the RV and tapping it off the end of the tube with a hammer. Broke away easily and new door assembly slid on. I used ABS cement to secure it. This replacement end cap is made by the same manufacturer as the original.

Not as easy to fit as I hoped, but that was because the originals had been glued in place. Once the ends were cut off the pipe these were a perfect fit. I just had to make some small brackets to adapt for the slightly shorter pipe.It looks like these are exactly the same as the 7 year old ones I replaced, if they had been made a bit stronger, maybe they would have lasted longer, I guess they just went brittle with age. At least I know that I need to look after these and be gentle when opening and closing them.
