It does not take much effort to see and understand how having a skylight in your camper or RV can benefit you. There are several options available for our outer dome skylights that you ought to consider. First are the four color options: Clear, White, Smoke, and Crackle.
Size
Size is also something to be taken into consideration. Whether you're working with an existing opening, or creating a new one in your RV, you should figure out what size will work best for you. We have our skylights available in two standard sizes - 14" x 14" and 14" x 22"
Interior Finish
You should also consider the optional trim ring. The trim ring covers up the inner edges and sides of the hole your skylight is installed on, giving it a more pleasant appearance. You should also consider the optional inner dome. The inner dome installs inside your RV or camper, trapping a pocket of air between itself and the outer dome.

Interior Domes
Having only an outer dome on your skylight allows heat to transfer in and out of your rig very easily. An inner dome such as this sits inside your RV or camper and can help significantly reduce that heat transfer. When paired with an outer dome skylight, the inner dome will trap a pocket of air between the two. This air pocket will act as an insulator, reducing the amount of heat moving in or out of your rig.

Perfect fit, quality is the same as the original, replaced the shower skylight bubble that cracked during a freeze. I was surprised that the holes lined up! Put a bead of Dicor lap sealant under them screwed it down, then a coat on top of the screws out to the edge, looks perfect!

Replaced old skylight which cracked and was leaking. I chose this one because the picture showed it has the same number of holes as my factory RV skylight -- and it does. But the holes don't line up with the old holes.So I filled the old holes with toothpicks and wood glue and then just screwed into fresh roof. Make sure to use putty tape under the entire circumference so that the screws go through the tape, and seal the screw heads and skylight edges with self leveling lap sealant.

I did not see thickness dimensions or know how to compare to other manufacturers as was my first experience replacing one. If I knew how thin it was I would have paid more for a thicker more substantial one. I did not have time to return it because of weather circumstance so had to install it anyway. Other than that it fit ok. some holes lined up, other had to be redrilled.
