Just slips together, and you've got a great holder for any coffee table book. I have a gorgeous art book, and I wanted to be able to see the pages. I now enjoy changing up the pages every so often. This is a great item.

I love acrylic things like pedestals, tables, & frames. So when my original acrylic book holder broke (my husband sat something heavy on it by accident) I knew right away that I wanted to replace it. This one arrived quickly, the price was fine, and seems sturdy. Our David Shrigley art book is the 1st one we've put on it and leave the book open to a different funny page every day. This is very nice. Modern looking super easy to assemble BUT it is definitely for a smaller book. You can’t see it if you put a regular sized coffee table book cuz it’s small. It’s not tiny tho. I still like it. It looks. nice and it’s sturdy. There are larger ones out there.

this item is very very fragile and impractical, i only keep my quran on it… i purchased it twice because the first time it broke on the first day and now i bought it again and it broke in a couple of days, sadly you’re wasting your money if you purchase this
