Really surprised at how well and how long these blades lasted. Remained sharp and usable for one side of my house while scraping trim. These, compared to a big box store's brand, were waaayyyyyy better - they just seemed to never dull. Now that I think about it I actually only used two blades to do scrape all the trim on my house.If you plan on painting your house DO NOT go cheap when buying your tools. I went thru 3 packs (total of seven blades including the one that came with the scraper AND each blade had four sides that can be used for scraping ... Yeah, no kidding 28 edges of scraping) of the big orange house brand. Trying to save money upfront and not buying name brand Red Devil ended up costing more in the end. Save yourself some money, time, and above all aggravation and just buy this Red Devil stuff. It is quality stuff

Does what it is supposed to, scrape stuff. The new edges are very sharp, and grab loose paint very well. However, I have some 15 year old blades that have been resharpened repeatedly, and those old blades seem to be harder, and keep an edge better. However, when you need new blades for your scraper handle, these work well.

We own a sailboat with a teak cap rail that must be varnished every several years. This is the ONLY tool that we've ever found that removes the varnish and as little of our teak as possible. There are two sharp, strong edges so the tool head can be rotated on the handle to expose a new surface. It's clever and it works.

The steel in the 1.5†and 1†true value scraper blades is inadequately hardened and will not keep an edge at all. Do not recommend.

A good decent tool except I wish this blade would last just a bit long before it became dull. It is frustrating the need to change the blade 2-3 times for just a small job, not to mention the cost.
