These darts are a bit grippy,I can feel the square edges of the grooves. That’s not a bad bad thing because it keeps me from holding the dart too hard. If you hold the darts too hard, these will help you break that habit. You should have a soft touch when throwing to increase accuracy. Great match weight, I put them on the scale. If you like a long dart these are priced right and you get Red Dragon quality. I liked them so much I got 20, 22 and 24 gram sets to see what works best. Great darts.

These are interesting darts with a great combination of quality and value. For this price, nobody should expect to get the Nitro Tech shafts included, but they are cheap enough to install yourself which is what I did for an easy upgrade. The barrel has plain styling in line with this price point, but nicely machined for a 4/5 on the grippy scale. Compared to my other 24 gr R-D darts, these feel heavy maybe a result of the longer 85% Tungsten barrel configuration. Overall, very pleased with them.UPDATE: These are one of my favorite darts, being one of my most accurate straight-throwing ones. I tried upgrading to the longer Red Dragon Raptor points but they did not fit the barrel much to my surprise. For some reason, the Raptor point circumference was too small. Luckily I had some Trident tips which did have the correct fitment for repointing these Javelins. With Nitro Tech stems and Trident points, it is now a $30 dart set, go figure.

Purchased these and on the first day I split two shafts/stems in the back where the flights set. Love the solid grip of the barrel, and these are some of my favorite less expensive 24 gram darts.But these need to either come with an extra set of shafts or maybe sell with metal ones. Now I've had to pull another set of shafts from existing dart sets I have here while I order replacements for these. You can see by perusing the reviews that this is a common problem.Good value for the money though, and throw well. If you like aggressive sticky barrels, these are for you.

These are almost perfects darts... but the plastic shafts are horrible. 2 out of the 3 got bent a little after an hour of play. Flights fall out multiple times a game and is just annoying. Can't say I'd buy again or recommend them until they release these with aluminum shafts.

Ive never owned any darts much beyond a beginner set. These are a very nice upgrade. Feel good in the hand and well balanced. I may not hit the bullseye on cue, but it would not be the fault of these darts!

These are great darts to upgrade to if you've never used tungsten darts. They seem to be one of the best values out there from what I can tell. They're much slimmer than brass barrel darts so the only thing keeping you from nailing 180s with these darts is user error.The weights are fairly consistent too. Mine came in at 24.3g, 24.2g, and 24.0g. I know I'm not good enough for a difference of 0.3 grams to matter, you probably aren't either. All three shaft+flights were the same weight, 1.8g total.

I am loving my Red Dragon Javelin darts. I use 3 fingers and thumb to throw and there is plenty of spaceto hold the grip for me.The grip ribbing was very rough at first it felt like my hands were 'catching' when i threw a dart but I got used to it in about a week and now they feel very comfortable. I'm throwing some good darts! The long length of these darts suits my playing style.

Excellent grip, perfect length of the barrels for the back and 3-4 finger grippers like me, i have other straight barrel darts but i wanted a 20gram dart so it fits my need to the point.But the only problem was the paint coated steel tips with crown shape penetrate the board and you cant pull the darts out, you have to literally screw out the darts, which is very irritating at times. Specially when playing a game or two.
