1 of the loop holders on rear GTI latch snapped off. Aftermarket ones were expensive ( think ECS has a kit of 2 50$ or more can't remember exactly but OUTRAGEOUS!! ). Took off the arm part of the lift,Filed down the broken part to a flat surface, drilled the correct hole, slide thru, tighten nut, put it all back & it was better than factory!!!

Good quality part, wish it was a bit less expensive, but it was just what I needed to fix the lift gate on my 2007 Honda Odyssey.The factory stud was plastic and had broken off and the liftgate strut was bent in an attempt to close the gate afterward.There is a nut included with each stud that was unnecessary for my application but this was exactly the part I needed.I was easily able remove the old stud and install this part and the replacement liftgate snapped into place perfectly.

Needed one stud for my windshield wiper arm thats been discontinued. Drilled out the old stud and welded this one in. Works PERFECT.

Listed as a 10mm ball but measures at it's widest point at 9.84mm. The old ball stud I'm replacing measures 9.96mm so the new ball fits into the joint loosely and can be pulled out even with the retaining clip on.
