I'll still like to use top stub checks, the banks provide plastic covers that fall apart. This checkbook cover is strong, yet soft real leather. Looks good too.

I really like the weight and feel of the leather of which this product is made. It has a nice texture on the outside which has a grain, but smooth and very sturdy. The stitching is attractive and solid. On the inside is a full pocket, not just a strap, to hold the backing of the checkbook securely in place. On the other flap are two more pockets for receipts or other miscellaneous items. I purchased this for my mother to use for her checks and I think she will really like it. I would recommend purchasing this item.

It came in a flat package; but all I had to do to get it to stay folded was place a heavy book on it for a couple of days.

I haven't changed my top-stub checkbook cover since back in the day when banks used to GIVE them away. Lol. Needless to say, I was hesitant, but I needed a change. I expected this would be a poor, cheap, replacement. I was pleasantly surprised! It's much better quality than my old one. The deep Navy Blue color is beautiful. The leather is real, thick, and soft. The craftsmanship is great. Stitching looks well done! It feels supple, soft, thick and solid! It says Made in the USA! I can't express how happy I am. The seller really NEEDS to improve their ad because this should all be made clear. More / better pictures, closeups, Made in US, colors.... All should be clear. Great product. Thank you.

It presents nicely, but I think it was a bit overpriced. I saw comparable items elsewhere that were a bit more cost effective. It is a gift, so it is nice enough.
