They are a sacrificial barrier between the wheel rim and the curb. RimSavers will help to protect your wheels from curb rash and cover up existing damage.
RimSavers simply stick to the wheel with a very high bond 3M tape, making for easy DIY installation with no removal of the tire required. RimSavers cover ¼ inch of the outer lip and have a guide lip on the top side that makes fitting very easy. The included clips add strength and cover the seam, so the cut doesn’t have to be perfect.
Each RimSavers kit includes 4 cut strips that fit up to a 24” wheel. Cleaning wipes and adhesive promoter wipes ensure a long lasting bond to the wheel surface. Joining clips and glue are provided to cover the seam, leaving a professional finish.

Simple DIY Installation
RimSavers simply stick to the face of the outer lip of wheel, which can be done without removing the wheel or tire.
RimSavers fit most flat or slightly curved wheels. They will not fit on wheels with cut out sections in lip or raised spokes at lip. Email a picture of your wheel if you are not sure.
Fitting Guide
- Clean wheel lip with your own rubbing alcohol and shop towels.
- Wipe wheel lip with your RimSavers alcohol wipe.
- Apply Promoter to the outer lip of your rim. Allow to set for 5 minutes, not more than 20 minutes.
- Peel approx 1" of backing tape and apply blade to rim lip. Continuously apply pressure on the blade.
- Apply blades so guide lip is resting on outer lip of wheel. Adhesive tape bonds to face of wheel.
- Cut blade so that the ends butt up with no overlap.
- Apply super glue to back of clip. Place clip over cut seam.
- Allow 3 days before cleaning wheels or adding tire shine.

Fairly easy to install and good looking. Absorb the curb rash and save the rim. Have replaced portions from left over material. The only drawback I wasn’t happy with is when I had new tires installed. For some reason 2 of the 4 rim savers didn’t survive. I’m thinking technicians unfamiliarity with the product. Color stays true and adherence is very good as is the fit. I put these on my 98 Camaro with sport tuning wheels. Can’t use them on my 2021 Accord because the wheels are not smooth and adhesion wouldn’t be good.

I actually purchased and installed these a month ago, but waited to review until I'd washed my car a few times. Now that I have, here goes: I found it a pretty straight forward install. Just FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. Do one wheel at a time and don't rush yourself. Because I took my time, it turned out great. I've washed the car 4 times and the Rim Savers didn't budge. The color continues to be vibrant and eye catching. Where I live, we really don't have snow, so I have no idea how they perform in that environment. However, in heavy rain, no problems. I hope this review is helpful.I jinxed myself. The very next time I washed my car, after my initial review, I lost both front and rear driver's side Rim Savers. A grown man nearly cried.I contacted the company and they said that the automatic car wash rail is what caused the damage and that the product did its job by protecting the wheel from the rail. They further said that the damage was not covered by their warranty. BUT they would send me replacements right away. They did and I'm happy again, and more cautious when washing my car.

When it comes to protecting your wheels from any kind of damage, these rim guards are totally useless. Even lightly bumping the wheel against a curb results in the guard peeling right off and the wheel getting just as scraped up as if the guard wasn’t there at all.Oh and as an added bonus, once the guard does come loose from scraping against a curb, it flings itself off as soon as you pick up speed.The only real purpose these things serve is for covering up existing curb rash.

My Tesla looks great in these. So glad I bought and installed them - and never more so than when my car hit a pothole at speed. Both passenger side (brand new Pirelli’s - sigh) tires were destroyed but my rims? Survived with only a small scratch through the powder coat. I surmise that, without the rim protectors, there would have been more substantial damage than what occurred. New tires - and a new set of rim protectors. Well worth the money and the application time if they did anything to save the powder coat.Downside and therefore only 4 stars. I’ve been through a couple of sets. The adhesion is a little lacking. The double-sided 3M tape on the protector sticks like crazy to a well-prepped rim but does not maintain the same adherence to the actual protector. The plastic can fly off and leave the tape on the rim. Prepping for another set requires a ton of 99.9% alcohol and elbow grease.

I really love riding off the beaten path..I was very skeptical of these but really wanted to add a little more color, this green was a perfect match.. install was easy, I stayed off of the dirt roads for awhile..1. They look badass clean and 2. Gave them plenty of time to cure..since then it's been take no prisoners. Absolutely no mercy. Deep mud, gravel, lots of dirt and dust and these things are still there! Would definitely recommend!UPDATE! 4/29/23Right rear snagged on something and started separating..I should have cleaned them and reapplied some 3m tape and superglue.. but I didn't. It finally came off going through some really deep, thick mud last night. I will be buying more, still love the product.. I love the extra green to break up the black. This time I will actually clean the wheel 100% before I install.If you drive your vehicle predominantly on road you will not have any issues!

They went on easy enough. I had 2 problems:- 3 of the 4 packets of Adhesion Promoter were dry AND ... I didn't discover that till the 4th tire.I'll have to wait a see if they stay on or not.- The bands seem to be wound in reverse. When I took them out of the package, they wanted to lay in reverse curve of the tire. It was an easy fix. I rewound each peace and put them in the sun for a while.

I purchased these over 2 months ago. They started to lift from the drivers side due to using automatic car washing (fault of my own). But I reached out to customer service and was given a 1-on-1 experience! They were very timely in their response and even offered to replace my 2 that were lifting off my rims. I will buy again if the issue occurs.They are very easy to install with easy to follow installation instructions and they look great!

I wanted to start this review by saying that rimblades ARE NOT a permanent solution to tire rash protection, as in you need to replace them after each incident where they detach. I say this because I assumed the opposite, and you need to have the tools necessary to remove them (wd40 was suggested to me by customer support).To make a long story short, I installed these, went through a car wash and my front left tire ended up getting potential tire rash. Instead of that rash, the rimblades came off and protected the tire. I initially thought it came off from the water, but that was not the case.I contacted customer support and the service was exceptional. They not only gave me a replacement, but the kit they sell to remove it free of charge. The product did it's job and I was given a replacement as a sign of goodwill. I will definitely buy rimblades again, and I really think anyone considering buying them should.As a side note, the color I went with was red, and the fit on my rims (18 inches) was pretty damn good.

This product does not fit to tesla model Y and seems the adhesive is not that storng and would fall off.

The first package did not work but RimBlades were quick to replace - many thanks. I found it easier to take the wheel off the car and place on a flat surface so I could fix the 'RimBlade' to the rim without too much hassle. There is n need to do this if you can spin the wheel and no need to take the tyre off. At present, they look good and it is recommended that you should not drive at over 40mph within the first 24hrs of fitting. This time I'm allowing the car to stand over night in the hope that the glue (adhesive) sets well. I've given a 5* review this time as they were replaced quickly with no cost to me, well done RimBlades. If they don't stay on I shall update this review.
