Fussy pregnant female refused kibble but ate this willingly. So happy it worked for her. Recommended this to my daughter for her 11 year old collie who was loosing weight for not wanting to eat. She put pieces on top of his kibble and he cleaned his bowl. He is still eating it and happily gained his weight back. Thanks for a great product. There was an issue with shipping but seller resolved immediately!

If you need to read the review to buy this product then you must be a beginner dog trainer! Every single person In the dog club Im part of uses red barn beef rolls for training purposes! Make sure you have a sharp knife when you are cutting this stuff up. In the last year they have changed the formula slightly to make the rolls less crumbly but also using a sharp knife helps with that too. We have two German shepherds that both get trained nearly 5 to 6 days a week, so one 4lb roll lasts between 4 to 8 days depending on the training session. The first three ingredients are meat so this stuff must taste pretty good because I have yet to see a dog that doesnt love this stuff. Its best if you cut it up into squares when you use it as a training reward!

I like the price. It could be a little more moist, which makes it not as crumbly. But otherwise a great product.

I dice this up into small cubes or rectangles for a training reward. Works great, consistency about like plasticine clay, dogs wolf it down without chewing and ask for more. Most economical and non junky ingredient training reward I've found.

I am a dog trainer, and have been buying this product for over 10 years. This last batch I received seemed to cause some diarrhea and gas in several of my dogs. When I checked the ingredient list, sucrose has now moved up to the fourth ingredient from fifth. I'm wondering if this increase in sugar is causing the upset? Sugar in dogs does cause gas and can disrupt the normal gut flora. But the dogs ADORE it so until now, I have used it primarily as a really high value treat and have never had a problem. I don't know if I can even use it for that now that the formula is changed.
