Buy this case then pickup the reed saver pack separately and save a small fortune! This stays closed, looks great, and a humidity pack (sold separately) fits nicely in the bottom.I am still in the learning phase of my saxophone journey so I’m not playing through a box of reeds every month yet. 8 slots are fine for me. I can begin conditioning new reeds in reserve while having 3-4 in play. I will probably buy a second case for additional reeds as I develop.

Fits tenor sax reeds just fine. Simple storage for eight reeds. Nothing special but for under $15 it’s a great value. It’s made of cheap plastic but it doesn’t feel flimsy and it still looks nice. Would recommend for any musician on a budget (so, any musician).

It’s so much easier to store reeds, than to easily accessible too.

I bought 4 of these cases, one for each of my saxes (soprano, alto, tenor and bari). Overall the cases are a great deal, and they work well for soprano, alto and tenor reeds. It really helps to have all those reeds organized and readily available. However, the case doesn't work well with bari reeds. The bari reeds do technically fit, but they're such a tight fit that after playing, when the reeds get wet and swell up a bit, they fit so tightly in the slot that the edges of the reed tip get pushed out of shape. Also, they're a very close fit lengthwise. My Vandoren reeds just barely fit lengthwise, but my Ricos were too long to fit.Two quick tips: I saw some folks saying in their reviews that the case didn't hold the reeds snugly. One of mine was that way, but it was just that the thin black rubber band that holds the reeds in the channels had popped out of its little slots. It was easy to push it back in, and then it worked fine. Also, some folks said the case was hard to open. One of mine was that way, but I just scraped the little lip on the latch with a pocketknife a bit and then it worked fine. It really didn't take much scraping. A nail file would also work.

This case does not really close tightly so you gonna run into an issue of it opening up while in your bag. You’ll have to press quite hard for it to go click to close properly. That issue is especially going to happen with a child who is a beginner

The case was exactly as I expected and is perfect for my needs. It holds eight reads which is fine.

This is a well made case that will keep my clarinet and soprano sax reeds safe. They fit well and the cord across them keeps them from sliding about.

Compact case that does the job.
