This oiler has a pocket clip to keep it safe. I have one of mine filled halfway with valve oil. I use it on the bearing surfaces on the french horn rotary valves. For the past 69 years I have just tried to aim a drop of oil onto the gap between the swing arm and the stop. It always made a mess and got oil on the strings that operate the valve. With this handy oiler I can position the needle right next to the bearing surface. No more mess. Well made too. This would be the perfect oiler for woodwind players who want to keep the oil off the pads. Highly recommended for any musician.

These oil pens are great. You can fill them with your own oil and I use blue creeper. They’re small enough to keep in your travel pack when you go sewing or quilting with your travel machine. The tip is very small and precise to get in the small holes and tiny areas which are unique to vintage sewing machines. In addition the plastic body of the place where the oil sits is not so hard that they’re not squeezable. I have a hand injury and arthritis in my thumb, so it’s difficult with other ones that are not malleable enough. This is a perfect texture. I would buy again.

This works very good for my needs. The only reason for the 4 stars is due to the very small hole to try to refill it. Oil wants to bridge the opening and make a mess when pouring the oil in. I am now using a syringe with large gauge needle to fill it.

Got these to put my clipper blade oil in and it’s perfect. These don’t leak at all and much it so easy to put just enough oil on my blade

This oiler works fine but it leaks lying down. Keep it upright for storage.

I need to apply 6 drops of oil every day. After one month, my pen split open where you squeeze it.Seems like the plastic is weak, and maybe not oil-resistant.
