Good quality leash that gives cats plenty of freedom to explore while staying secure. The 30ft length is perfect for letting them roam without going too far. Reflective material works well at night, and the handle is comfortable to hold.A few tips: The leash can tangle if your cat circles around, so you'll need to straighten it occasionally. While sturdy, very determined cats might still find a way to slip out, so keep watching them. Takes about a week for most cats to adjust to wearing it.Overall great for introducing indoor cats to outdoor experiences safely. Worth the investment if you want to take your cat on adventures.+: Durable, reflective, comfortable grip, good length-: Can tangle, needs careful fitting

I bought these for my two kittens I'm raising. The long leash leads are sturdy and of good quality. They have been out in the rain and are still strong and sturdy when they dry. I have a very small backyard that is adjacent to other homes and then a nearby busy street. I keep the kittens indoors and chaperone them outdoors on these leads. When I eventually move from this temporary place, I will definitely have a bigger yard where there is far less car traffic so the cats can roam outdoors to play part of the daytime. I've always had indoor/outdoor cats, but never ever left any out overnight.

Would have preferred a smaller latch at one end. Seems big and heavy for a cat- but he seems not to mind so far

It's nice and durable, reflective, and the hardware isn't cheapo/flimsy, it's pretty solid! I use it for my cat paired with a harness.

I always keep one of these in front yard, one in back yard- and a spare in the car/trunk. If Im in an area already fenced for the dog, I can use this along with a good harness- for my cat so he can hang out with the dog and I on nice weather days under the tree. Or, If Im doing some outdoor work and the dog wants to be nearby for example, this lead can be moved around wherever there's a place to secure it. Bringing it in the car is also great because sometimes we might be traveling and we stop at a dog park where there's a tree to secure the lead- and my dog can sniff around and do her thing while Im sitting on a folding chair eating a snack (for example). Good product to have. I replace them every other year or so- they hold up pretty well.

I live in an apartment and fortunately they have a fenced in pet exercise area. I latch the leash to the fence and let my kitty explore for a while. When I had her on a 6 foot leash it was hard to keep up with her. Now she runs around, chases dragonflies, and lays on the grass without me having to follow her around so closely. This is one of the best purchases I have made for my kitten. I don’t have any issues with the clasps and although they are a bit heavier than the one on her short leash, she quickly got use to it and it doesn’t seem to bother her at all.

The clasp was heavier than I wanted.

My cat always stay in one place for a long time when I walk him, so I bought this long rope to tie him to the balcony so he can explore by himself in the yard. It is so useful and very good quality.
