Broken handle and a lot smaller than it shows. I'm not impressed at all, It's not worth the money for this tea set. I don't recommend it.

I decided to order these after I got a similar type of tea set for my daughter. I also loved Peter Rabbit as a kid, so I figured it was time to introduce my daughter to the beloved character. The quality of the tea-set is superb with metal pieces consisting of no rough edges. The images are very cute and well defined. The set does remind me of a little antique set and thus far it has held up very well when played with. Like any set that you would buy or play tea set this is not food safe, which given that it is a toy I would already assume this is the case. I have; however, put various liquids in the cups and just rinsed it out right away so for me it is food safe enough. And I often put cookies on the tray. I have seen a lot of complaints concerning what it comes in but for me let's get real. A kid is not going to keep any bin in really great condition anyhow just from wear and tear and the set is meant to be a toy play tea set, not something high end with a super high cost.

This set was both smaller and thinner (the metal) than I had expected. The carrying case is just cardboard and it cannot get wet. This is a pretend set, none of the items are intended to be used with actual food or beverages. But you really have to keep liquids away from it both due to cardboard case and the metal items (risk of rust). If you have kids under three, be aware that the lid for the tea pot is choking hazard size.

This product is the cutest. It says for children ages 5 and up, but we used it with my toddler and had no issues. I think it's because the teapot lid is small enough to be a choking hazard, but that's it.I'm giving this 5 stars because the tea set is made of durable material and it's a cute theme, so it fit all my needs.BUT: just a warning for others. This is not Peter Rabbit. It's similar to Peter Rabbit, but is not the same. It's like a knockoff kind, but it's still cute.Sadly, the shipping method was just in a plastic amazon bag, so my carrying case that it came in was broken, likely in transit. I'm not knocking the seller for that, I just taped it back together, and the carrying case is still functional, but it was a bit disappointing. The carrying case is made out of the pressed cardboard stuff like the shoebox things you can find at TJ Maxx or Marshall's in the stationary section. So it'll last if it's taken care of.
