I really like the material of this crown. While it appears substantial, it is actually lightweight and malleable, much like the rulers of today. It was originally purchased for a photo shoot but the crease from where it is folded flat, made it a little less realistic than we were looking for but it will be absolutely smashing on stage. The price was pretty decent so we are going to keep a hold of it for future productions. It is fully adjustable and surprisingly comfortable. It has more of a Nordic appearance which really looks well for northern European premedieval staging.

My kid loved this for Halloween. The design is great, but shipping it folded created a crease that we could not get out completely even after reverse folding it and leaving it strapped backwards around a toy drum for a month. Maybe some heat from a hair dryer or something would have helped.

This is a very lightweight crown with adjustable fit. I am hoping to get it into a permanent rounded shape. It bends very well. But having been stored and packaged flat there is a spot that wants to push out of shape. A few more “treatments†with a heat gun or blow dryer should fix it. I have to say for the price and the weight, this little struggle is insignificant given how substantial it looks. I expect my Halloween thieving pirate will be donning this treasure for years because it is quite sturdy.
