Used this item to cover the turkey during roasting. It held up through hours of baking and basting. Turkey turned out great!

This cheese cloth was the best option I could make. I used this to cover my turkey for Thanksgiving and not only did it bake phenomenally, but it helped keep and maintain the flavor of a sixteen pound bird! This is by far the best cheese cloth to invest in for a multitude of purposes.

Worked great to keep our Thanksgiving turkey moist. Cloth was a bit thin but would purchase again.

After being truly inspired by a bunch of diy food blogs I had the opportunity of reading last month, I felt ready to take on more DIY projects, and really amp up my pantry storage. With this, I decided to start by making my own cheeses. So, what did I need to start my fromagerie? I bought this , , and our Regency Cheesecloth here. After following the instructions very carefully, I…failed. I actually didn’t follow the instructions carefully, I completely made a misstep in the amount of both rennet and citric acid that I was supposed to put in, resulting in a goopy mess. I tried again, this time basically writing the instruction on my hands so that I wouldn’t mess up, and wouldn’t you know it—it came out pretty damn great! I can’t believe that not only was it edible, it also tasted really good. It was amazing. I started with ricotta, but feeling confident from my first cheese I then moved on to mozzarella. Success! I can’t believe it, but I did it, and the cheesecloth worked perfectly well. Now, I’ll be honest dear Amazon readers, I’m actually not going to be open a fromagerie so now I have all of these tools to make cheese, but little passion for the making itself. That said, I found other uses for my products. Well, kind of. The rennet: no chance, I haven’t found any use for it, someone please comment on this post and give me a use for it. The cheesecloth: so many cooking things. Anytime I need to take some of the liquid out of something, I use my cheesecloth. Basically, for any kind of filter you could need in the kitchen, my cheesecloth works as it. Now, the piece de resistance; the citric acid. The citric acid has so many uses that, finding more uses is actually becoming one of my obsessions. I (will) use it for preserves, I use it for my fruit salads, I (will one day) use it for making bath bombs, I even am going to try to clean my dishwasher with it this weekend. The brand is pretty good for the cheesemaking, as it leaves it with a really clean taste, as opposed to another brand my friend tried that she said gave it a funny aftertaste. Okay, gigantic monologue over, I recommend all of these products, and I hope you enjoy making ze cheese!

Last night I was melting down some beeswax caps mixed with honey to make my own beeswax bar, and I ordered this product to be my filter as the last step in the process.I used about half of this whole package of cheese cloth folded up over an empty and washed out milk carton and secured it with a rubber band (see photo). I forgot to take a picture of all the stuff that stuck to the top of the cheesecloth that didn't make it through the filter but it really worked at seperating the honey and wax from the debris. I was left with a nice clean chunk of beeswax that seperated from the honey while I let it sit over night. Now I'm not super familiar with cheesecloth so this could be normal, but the edges were a little frayed. Nothing some scissors couldn't fix if I was worried about it, but the edges weren't going to be near my wax anyways so it was okay. Also, 9 square feet was smaller than I thought! I measured it though, and it really is 9 square feet.Over all I would recommend this cheesecloth, it worked great even with some super hot and thick beeswax (that stuff is like hot glue!!) And was able to give me a nice clean chunk of wax as a result.

Better than the cheap crap you can buy at the grocery store. I used it to strain my dandelion wine. Its sturdy enough to reuse, I'm going to wash it. Good stuff, not the best but good.
