I see the cancer causing label warning on this product. It doesn't really apply to my use. I don't use it to scoop feed. I use it with gloved hands to scoop out the nesting boxes for my chicken coop. My coop is small. I have no more than 5 chickens. The front portion of their coop is accessed by large doors that allow for the main area to be raked and swept out easily. The three nesting boxes 11.5" by 15" long have always been a chore. They are accessed via a roofed area in the rear. You prop up the roof and then scoop out the used nesting material however you can. For years I used a modified dustpan with the handle sawn short. It would take 4-5 goes for one nesting cubicle to get enough in the pan to empty the used material. It never held much material and it would spill out. The pan finally cracked and I needed something else.This mega dipper is perfect. It takes one pass to maneuver out most of the material which is contained nicely in the scoop - and maybe one more pass to clean up. It is just the right size. I feel like I've been relieved from a sisyphean task.It's the right product for the right use. Small victories make life good!
